Korean soy dip
Quantity: 1 container
Complexity: simple
Working time: 10 min
Total preparation: 10 min
Ingredients
60 ml soy sauce (Japanese)
2 cloves of garlic
1 chili pepper
2 spring onions (or a small leek)
4 tsp sesame seeds
1 stem ginger
1 tbsp white wine
1 tbsp sesame oil
sugar to taste
Preparation
Toast the sesame seeds in a frying pan until golden brown, shaking the pan regularly (be careful not to burn them). When they are golden brown, remove them from the pan!
The pan is still hot and the seeds can still burn if you leave them in the pan.

Cut the stem ginger into pieces or strips.

Stir together soy sauce, crushed garlic, chopped chili pepper, chopped spring onion, sesame seeds, stem ginger, white wine and sesame oil.
Add sugar to taste, and stir until dissolved.

Delicious with Dim Sum, pot stickers and (Korean) potato cakes .
