Restaurant at a great height
From December 20, 2002 to early February 2003, dining was available in the Westpoint Tower at 375 feet. The building is over 143 meters and was then the tallest residential tower in the Netherlands (now Westpoint is in the 3rd place as the tallest residential tower in the Netherlands). For comparison: the restaurant of the Eiffel Tower in Paris is 95 meters away, that of the Euromast in Rotterdam is 105 meters.

The Westpoint panorama restaurant was an initiative of builder Ballast Nedam. "We want the people of Tilburg to experience the height and atmosphere of the project," said a spokesperson for the builder.
On the 38th floor, where the restaurant was located, guests could enjoy the phenomenal view. According to builder Ballast Nedam, it was not technically possible to set up a dining room on the top, 47th floor.

The food in the tower was provided by a well-known Tilburg restaurant from De Bonheur Horeca Group. The highest restaurant in the Netherlands had room for 60 guests. The restaurateur has had between 2000 and 3000 guests.

In 2011, De Bonheur Horeca Group opened a similar temporary restaurant in the Stadsheer.
