Westpoint is a residential complex in Tilburg with the most striking part being a residential tower with a height of over 140 meters. [1] This makes it the fourth highest residential tower in the Netherlands and the highest in the province of North Brabant.

The tower, referred to by the operator as Westpoint Tower, has 47 floors (the highest number in the Netherlands) and 154 apartments. The Westpoint Wing is permanently built, a lower part with commercial spaces, parking garage and 54 apartments on eleven floors. In 2010 there are rental and owner-occupied homes; in the Tower they vary in surface area from 123 to 308 m2, in the Wing from 110 to 180 m2.

The building is located on the corner of Hart van Brabantlaan and Ringbaan West, well west of the traditional city center, but geographically speaking it is slightly east of the center of Tilburg. There was previously a building at this location that was also called Westpoint. After this building remained largely unrented despite a major renovation, it was replaced by the current building.

The new Westpoint was completed in 2004 according to a design by Margriet Eugelink (Van Aken Architektuur). The foundation of the residential tower consists of 256 concrete piles with a diameter of 60 cm. The vertical and horizontal concrete elements of the grid pattern of the apartment have been colored by the visual artist Herman Kuijer . Colored light sources are placed between the floors.
